With the support of the 2010 Hope Bowlers, sponsors, donors, DVC staff and Board of Directors, more than $32,000 was raised at the 4th annual Hope Bowl! The generosity of these individuals not only helped raise funds for client services, but brought light to the issue of domestic violence and the DVC services.
Throughout the night teams participated in various challenges to win prizes, while participants enjoyed Honey Baked Ham lunch boxes courtesy of Steve Sachs and enjoyed great music provided by T&T Disc Jockeys. Top fundraisers of the evening included reigning top fundraising champion Dale Allen, who raised $3,139 and 8-year old Taylor Schwartz brought in $1,510 for DVC services! For the fourth year in a row, Team Focus had the Hope Bowl Top Team Score while I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gutter took home Top Team Name! Congratulations to all of the winners and Hope Bowlers!
This total was made possible by participants going out of their way to ask relatives, friends, co-workers and even strangers to support a good cause. The DVC is proud to announce that this year’s event is the top fundraising Hope Bowl to date! We can’t thank everyone enough for their help in making the 2010 Hope Bowl a great success!
